Hello Janice, It's nice to meet you. I'm visiting from Cindy's blog. I really enjoyed reading your memory post. I'm glad you and your friend hid the new born kittens. Joyous Wishes, Linda

I was over on Cindy's blog by way of Beverly's Pink Saturday links. I read about how you took in your great grandson upon the death of his mother, your granddaughter. I'm so sorry to hear of her death, but so blessed that you took him in. Cindy mentioned you with the caption 'strong women'. Thank you for your strength and determination in being a great, grandmother and great grandmother in taking him in.

I enjoyed reading your story about the barn (hard to read about the kittens before their eyes are opened - but farm life is a different story than city life ... in many ways, especially in dealing with livelihood and animals.) Anyway, it was as though I were there ...in the story about the barn and the times. Enjoyed reading your post. Nice to meet you. Thank you and a Happy Pink Saturday to ya. (I had to conjure up an English accent in my mind and wondered if you still have your accent and what dialect it might be.) ;) Thanks, Jenn
